Winter Wonderland

Today has been a more magical winter day that I could have even dreamed of. Even things like going to school are more magical in the snow! It was predicted that the snow would stop falling by 9am, but instead it fell the entire day, leaving all of Corvallis covered in a beautiful white blanket of snow.

In fact, just about everyone on campus was taking pictures or building snowmen.

The entire campus was especially beautiful covered in snow. And mind you, I always think my school is beautiful.

The rest of Corvallis looks just as beautiful as campus!

After enjoying a very distracting day at school, Steve picked me up for lunch. We went to the Flat Tail Brewery right along the Willamette River downtown. We made sure to sit right by the window so we could watch the snow fall. We didn’t expect too much from the food, but it turned out to be amazing!

Steve ordered a Tempeh Veggie BurgerΒ  and some amazing fries.

I ordered a salad. I thought it would just be decent, but it was one of the best salads I have ever had! No kidding! The dressing just made the meal.

(Minus the turkey, of course)

Plus some nice, warm coffee.

I ate every bite πŸ™‚

After lunch we walked along the water to take in the snowy sights

It was all love and snuggling…

Steve took the hit once and I took the hit the other. We called it a draw.

Now we are off to bundle up for a cold night! It is supposed to dip below 20 degrees!

Stay warm and cozy πŸ™‚

  1. WOW you campus is beautiful!!! Especially with all of that soft, fluffy snow πŸ™‚ I can safely say that the only time I’ve ever experienced that much snow is when I was in Colorado in fourth grade. TONS of snow. Glad you’re enjoying it!! πŸ˜€
