Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Dear friends and family, Merry Christmas! Or Happy Saturday, to be P.C.. I hope everyone is having a beautiful morning and enjoying the company of family and friends while filling your belly with good food. We are spending our Christmas here in Corvallis by relaxing. This is the first day we have had to ourselves in two weeks, and that is amazing Christmas present in itself. I hope your day is completely magical and you get everything you wish for.

Let’s celebrate by enjoying my favorite Christmas song of all time:

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Let your heart be light
From now on,
our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay,
From now on,
our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.

(Poor cat…)

Through the years
We all will be together,
If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.
And have yourself A merry little Christmas now.

P.S. I got my Blogger Secret Santa gift last night! Annie from Strong, Healthy, Fit sent me an amazing haul of delicious Northeastern eats including pancake mix, maple candies, and syrup. Thanks Annie, you rock!
